The Shrimp Scapes Story
Hi, I’m Cameron, founder of Shrimp Scapes.
Over the years, my coworkers started calling me “Camaron.”
It means shrimp in Spanish — a nickname that stuck.
When I launched my business, I embraced it. To me, “shrimp” represents being humble, hardworking, and honest — staying grounded, no matter how big the job.
For years, I worked in the landscape industry across Arizona — sweating through long days, working hard, and doing my best to serve homeowners.
I loved transforming yards, but one thing always bugged me…
Everywhere I went, the same problems kept showing up:
- Contractors not showing up when they said they would.
- Half-finished jobs and hidden costs.
- Customers left in the dark, frustrated and ignored.
It wasn’t the physical work that was broken — it was the communication.
I knew it didn’t have to be that way. So I made a decision:
If I was going to start my own company, it would stand for the exact opposite of what people hated about landscaping.
That’s how Shrimp Scapes was born.
